Booking.com calendar sync: export and import iCal links in the Extranet
Booking.com supports calendar sync by link in the Extranet. It's the simplest way to keep Booking.com from selling nights that are already booked on Airbnb, Agoda or elsewhere.
Export your Booking.com calendar
- Sign in to the Booking.com Extranet at admin.booking.com.
- Open Rates & Availability → Sync calendars.
- Choose Export calendar for the room and copy the link. It starts with
ical.booking.com.
The link lists the nights booked on Booking.com for that room, with the confirmation number for each booking.
Import another calendar into Booking.com
- On the same Sync calendars page, add a calendar connection (Import calendar).
- Paste the other site's export link — or your Axorooms link — and name it so you know where it came from.
- Booking.com reads imported calendars about every 2 hours and closes those nights.
Limits worth knowing
- One unit per room type. Calendar sync works for up to 20 room types, with one unit per room type. If you sell several identical rooms as one room type, calendar links aren't the right tool — you'd need a connectivity provider that updates availability counts.
- Not instant. Because Booking.com reads links every couple of hours, a booking made elsewhere can take a while to close the night here. Read why double bookings still happen for ways to keep the risk low.
One link per site, not a web of links
If you list on three or more sites, give each site one link from a channel manager instead of importing every site into every other. With Axorooms, Booking.com gets an Axorooms link that includes bookings from all your other sites — but never Booking.com's own, so cancellations don't echo back.
