Booking.com iCal link and calendar sync: how to connect it
Booking.com supports calendar (iCal) links, so it can share bookings with Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda and the rest. This is the setup, step by step.
| Booking.com re-reads your calendar | about every 2 hours |
|---|---|
| Its calendar link carries | booked dates and the confirmation number |
| Official help | partner.booking.com |
1. Copy your Booking.com calendar link into Axorooms
- Sign in to the Booking.com Extranet (admin.booking.com).
- Open Rates & Availability → Sync calendars.
- Choose Export calendar for the room and copy the link (starts with
ical.booking.com). - Paste it into Axorooms and press Connect — we check the link right away and show how many bookings we found.
2. Paste your Axorooms link into Booking.com
- In Axorooms, copy this listing's Axorooms calendar link.
- In the Extranet, same Sync calendars page, choose Add calendar connection / Import calendar.
- Paste the Axorooms link and name it Axorooms.
- Booking.com re-reads it about every 2 hours. Note: iCal works for up to 20 room types, one unit per type.
What to expect
Calendar links are never instant: each site reads the others on its own schedule. A night booked on Booking.com closes everywhere else once those sites next read their link, and a night booked elsewhere closes on Booking.com about every 2 hours. To keep double bookings rare, read how often each site syncs and why double bookings happen.
